South African companies are preparing themselves for a four-day work week!?

Could this be the end of employee fatigue and great revenue rates for companies?
We heard of talks about the four-day work week last year and the benefits that were said to come with its implementation.
As a point of reference, we saw many companies abroad implement this system and reap the rewards.
Many were of the belief that it may not work, considering the magnitude of work that many workers have in a five-day week, that sometimes carries over into the weekend.
Leaving workers overworked, tired, and unmotivated.
"The idea is that employees are given 100 percent of the pay for 80 percent of the time in exchange for delivering 100 percent of the output." (MSN)
Although the model found employees to be less fatigued and improved revenue for companies, Herbert, Smith, Freehills Employment lawyer Jacqui Reed says employees should be careful with the labour implications.
