South African man calls out the underperformers in SA
"I love being South African but..."
There's always a "but" and it often involves the usual suspects.
A South African content creator shared a heartfelt video about his love for South Africa, praising our country's stunning beauty and the amazing people who call it home.
However, the compliments quickly faded when he launched into a rant about the things that annoy him. At least we can appreciate that he started by celebrating our rainbow nation in all its glory.
To be fair, his rant was justified. The issues he raised are ones most South Africans are all too familiar with – even if they don't exactly reflect our best traits.
He began by addressing the underperformers in our country who are letting the rest of us down.
His list included pedestrians who disregard motorists and take over the roads, taxi drivers (well, of course, taxi drivers made the list – they've become one of the most unchangeable things in our country that we've chosen to accept) and, finally, those "space invaders" in supermarkets who take over every aisle.
