A Temu 'cheeseboard' fail to learn from
This was another classic example of what people think they're buying versus what they actually get.
We’ve all seen those stories about what you thought you were buying versus what you actually received, and they never fail to capture our attention.
Not only are they entertaining, but they also serve as a valuable lesson for online shoppers. After all, sometimes you have to get bitten to learn a lesson.
One South African guy shared a story about his friend, who was excited about her Temu order. It included several wooden serving boards, ranging from cheese boards to pizza boards – but as with many online purchases, things didn’t turn out quite as expected.

We felt there was something more to the story because of his lighthearted look.
In the video, he jokes that his friend can feed a family of ants with her serving boards. It turns out, she had overlooked the item specifications before making the purchase, and when the boards arrived, they were much smaller than she expected.
This serves as a reminder of just how important it is to check the product descriptions and specifications carefully before finalising your online order.
