There's always that one driver who doesn't care about how they park

There's always that one driver who doesn't care about how they park

This is more common than people realise...

When drivers park poorly, we wonder if they realise the implications their lousy parking has on those around them. Despite what some might think, as a driver (and with most roles we play in life), your actions don't just affect you, but they affect everyone around you.

The truth is that parking poorly inconveniences other drivers, obstructs neighbouring vehicles, and could potentially cause a safety hazard to pedestrians.

Sometimes, when one driver parks poorly

, it causes other drivers to follow suit, and then there is a row of cars that ruin it for everyone. Surely, people can recognise that that is frustrating and unfair.

Not!

A Cape Town TikToker shared a short video of how a driver poorly parked at a shopping centre he was visiting. He turned his frustration into a song and even went as far as to say that this only happens in Cape Town

We are sorry to disappoint you. This happens everywhere. Bad drivers exist everywhere.

The driver drove past cars parked at Watergate Centre in Cape Town and started singing before he got to the maroon Renault Triber parked poorly.

Jason Adams agreed with us: "People park kak everywhere, not just Cape Town."

Parking within the lines is good practice, and it should be done because that is what we all learn when we attain our driver's licences.

So, to the drivers who don't, do better!
