From pooper scooper to pet food taster...
In case you were thinking that your line of work is something of a doozy, then you have yet to hear some of these weird jobs.
It's definitely something worth looking into when someone says that their job title is, Pet food taster.
Not a job that you hear about very often, is it?
But it is a legitimate job.
"Pet food gourmets must have a refined palate as well as an understanding of animal nutrition. Professional dog food taster Philip Wells (pictured) told The Guardian that an entry-level salary starts at $27,400 (£20k) a year though $68,800 (£50k) or more is "easily achievable" for an experienced taster. (MSN)
That's roughly R500k a year. Not too shabby...
This one is for someone who has a special sort of liking to picking up after animals.
"Professional poop scooper and founder of the Association of Professional Animal Waste Specialists, Tim Stone, once said he earns a not-too-shabby $76,900 (£56k) per year picking up dog mess." (MSN)
That's around R1.4-million a year.

The estimated average annual salary for the role is $61,406 (£44.7k) per year. (R1.1m)." (MSN)
