Are you a saver or a spender?
Saving money is not easy task. But over the years it has proven to be something of a trend for many people.
If you think about it, things like 'lottery' and 'stokvel' have existed for a long time but not everyone sees the value in putting away money.
A woman who has shown her savings for 2022 is inspiring many TikTokers.
Of course, it is valuable to always have a rainy-day fund. But what about saving money so that you can enjoy it during your holiday?
Sounds appealing, doesn't it?
For TikTok user, dipuozoemashilane it seemed like an auspicious occasion when she took out her plastic 5-litre bottle that was topped up with cash money.
In a video shared on her account, she cut open the plastic bottle excitedly and dropped a pile of wrinkled notes onto the ground.

We sense it felt like Christmas for her as she helped herself to her savings.
If anything, it was a merry time as she inspired many people to start saving. In the comments it was revealed that she in fact saved close to R60,000.
It certainly is believable as another user said that she didn't have a video to share but she managed to save R52,100.
Safe to say it pays to save, come year end...
