VIDEO: Rat caught enjoying chicken at Malaysian eatery
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Shocking footage shows how a giant rat was seen feasting on chicken at a restaurant in Malaysia.
Visiting a restaurant and seeing a rodent munching down on food meant for customers is less than desirable.
However, this is a reality that many eateries face. Rodent infestation is a significant problem and can ruin a restaurant's reputation instantly.
Recently, several videos went viral on social media showing the poor hygiene practices at eateries around Malaysia. It seems a Malaysian eatery has come under the spotlight yet again, and this time, the main act features a rat.
Mamak stalls are pretty popular in Malaysia; these are roadside stalls that sell food. They are prized in the community for their flavourful and affordable food. But it seems they come with the risk of having uninvited guests crash their day-to-day operations.
The video, which was shared on social media, shows the rat snacking on tandoori chickens left on skewers.
The time and date of the incident were not shared, but a video was posted on Instagram that shows how the rat proceeded to run towards the customers, leaving many of them screaming.
What was shocking to note was that none of the staff did anything after seeing the rat feasting on the chicken...
