When you think about travelling, you probably imagine it being light, airy, and carefree. But, it's often the complete opposite.
Travellers can easily become targets because they’re relaxed and not on high alert. Criminals are always on the lookout, ready to strike when you least expect it.
Take, for example, a woman sitting at a cafe, waiting between flights.
Her luggage was lying nearby as she seems preoccupied with a
conversation. At that moment, an opportunist thief nabs her luggage without her noticing a thing.

It happened so smoothly that he simply grabbed the luggage and walked away without a second glance.
When we think of theft, we often imagine something elaborate and calculated. But in reality, most thefts are quick and effortless – often because you (the victim) are not paying attention to your surroundings.
So, if you're ever travelling, stay alert. Criminals don’t wear balaclavas anymore; they blend in, watching, waiting, and ready to strike when you least expect it.
