Viral Dubai Chocolate available in SA for R400!
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Would you pay R400 for a slab of chocolate? That's considering you even have that kind of money to spend on confectionery...
Chocolate prices have been escalating recently, leaving many chocolate lovers cranky. There's nothing like finding out your favourite snack's price has increased.
Well, except for finding out that something you might want the option to try as a chocolate lover is like twenty times the price of what you usually pay.
The famous viral Dubai Chocolate that had social media users in a tailspin earlier this year has arrived in South Africa and is retailing for the not-so-humble price of R399,99.
Dis-Chem Pharmacies stock the Dubai chocolate at selected stores, and South Africans have been weighing in with their thoughts.
There has been a mixed reaction from those who have purchased the chocolate. Some say they love it and feel the price is worthy of the product, while others are left baffled.
One couple who purchased the chocolate a few days ago shared their review of the Dubai Chocolate and said this would not be a recurring purchase. Well, we would hope so; at R399,99, it's something only some can afford to buy all the time.
