Alex Jay is back in the Mother City and ready to take over another office - this time around he decided to head to Ottery.

For his next #WorkzoneTakeoverCT, Alex Jay visited the lively K-Way team at their Ottery Factory in Cape Town. The K-Way outdoor and technical clothing brand is a division of Cape Union Mart Group, one of the largest family-owned retail chains in South Africa
270 people are employed by K-Way and the brand is almost 40-years-old, with Cape Union Mart celebrating its 86th anniversary in 2019. This family company provides additional employment to more than 120+ people.
Upon arrival, Alex received a very personal gift from the team, have a look:

- K-Way boasts staff that have worked for the company for over 35 years and the average length of service is 10 years.
- They manufacture more than 600,000 garments annually.
- They produce garments which are used in the most hostile environments in the world, including Antarctica and Kilimanjaro in Kenya.
- 65% of the garments sold by Cape Union Mart are manufactured in Cape Town at the K-Way factory.
