WATCH: This is what happens when you have meetings in glass boardrooms
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Remember that looking is free...
There are several reasons why people use the saying, "don't box me in". The main, most obvious one being that they don't want to feel restricted or blocked into one space.
We assume this to be the reason for creating glass-roomed boardrooms, as it serves to make the inhabitants feel free and allows their ideas to flow...
However, we highly doubt that when they thought about glass-roomed boardrooms, they thought about the right to privacy being diminished?
Because that is exactly what happens in glass rooms.
The right to privacy is something that is quite wishy washy if you are in a space that is openly visible to others.
But there is a degree of going over the line here, because it doesn't mean that you have to look if it's in front of you.
Or does it?
We beg to differ. If what you are seeing is juicy, then it's your shady right to look. But that's just our unrated, unprofessional advice.
In a video posted to TikTok, we see a person giving a presentation in a glass boardroom.
The person taking the video zooms into one of the people in the meeting room, who has their phone propped up on their laptop screen.
And you won't believe, or maybe you will. He has Tinder, the popular dating app, opened up on his phone and is busy swiping trying to find a match...
