Selling your home can be just as stressful as buying a new home. It comes with all the nitty gritty stuff that most people don't take note of.

For instance, you might think your home is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but buyers might not always be on the same page as you.

Sometimes, getting the price you desire might translate into you spending more money than you planned to, but realtors will tell you that it is as much a buyers' market as it is a sellers. Dressing up your home to sell makes all the difference.

As we might've learnt from shows like 'The Property Brothers' and 'Get It Sold' on HGTV, making your home sellable sometimes requires you to fork out some money.

Realtors and contractors sometimes see homes on the market that are far from ready for sale. One such example was seen in a video on Instagram. It was alarming because the potential home buyers picked up on a key issue in the bathroom.

The toilet was blocking the shower door, which meant that you couldn't enter the shower. It was sad to see considering the bathroom tiling looked quite pristine and fashionable.
