Woman unknowingly puts electric kettle on stove top
This is what happens when you don't ask and just assume.
We all have that one friend who can’t tell the difference between a kettle and a frying pan...
Or, in this case, an electric kettle and a stovetop kettle.
A woman recently shared the hilarious aftermath of her friend's visit, which took an unexpected turn. Things quickly went from calm to chaotic when her "undomesticated" friend accidentally turned her kitchen into a smoky disaster.
Her friend, tasked with boiling the kettle, somehow took things to the next level by putting the electric kettle on the stovetop.

The poor friend was left mortified when she realised what she had done. The plastic from the electric kettle melted on the stovetop and continued to burn, filling the kitchen with a cloud of smoke.
People couldn't help but joke that she should not only buy a new kettle but also a new stove, as removing the melted plastic would be a big job. Some defended the content creator who posted the video, noting that many used it as an opportunity to spread negative comments.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the woman who posted the video revealed that her boyfriend now insists her friend isn't allowed over anymore.
