The worst PPE we've seen this week

Two workers using the most unlikely form of protection while painting the top of a building have left us shocked.

Working as a contractor or laborer requires strict adherence to safety protocols. From wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) to exercising caution on work sites, preparing for even the most unlikely situations is essential.
When working at height, it’s standard practice for workers to secure themselves with safety harnesses and be trained in safety standards.
However, as we all know, some people disregard these precautions and take dangerous shortcuts instead – they're commonly known as chancers.
Recently, a video surfaced on social media showing two men painting the top of a roof in a dangerously careless manner.
While the video doesn't appear to be local, it reinforces the saying, "Good work doesn't come cheap, and cheap work isn't good."
It wasn't for lack of effort, but neither seemed to fully understand the importance of safety on the job site. It was as if they had an idea, but it struggled to take shape and never fully developed...

Unless the man holding the rope had superpowers like the Hulk or Superman, we doubt he would've been able to stop the painter from falling off the ledge without falling himself.
People found the video amusing and many of them commented with sarcasm.
"The leash… the best form of PPE."
"Safety first, good job boys…"
"So instead of 1 falling, two fall – smart."
"So who will explain the law of physics to these guys?"
