American blogger says 'Cake Boss' pizza vending machine is a tourist trap
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Hmmm, sounds super innovative, a pizza vending machine...
If you are not a foodie and haven't heard about the famous Buddy Valastro aka The Cake Boss, then perhaps you should Google him.
He is a very successful and renowned Italian baker from the US. Valastro was put on the world map with his reality TV show called, 'Cake Boss'.
His team and him are known for their unique and extreme cake constructions. They own a bakery, which his father started in Hoboken, New Jersey, USA.
Amongst his portfolio he also has a show called, 'The Kitchen Boss', in which he cooks hearty and wholesome Italian recipes.
"Valastro recently unveiled two pizza vending machines at the Linq Hotel in Las Vegas, according to Vital Vegas. The machines are meant to provide fresh, hot, or cold pizzas and offers three varieties: cheese, italiano, and pepperoni." (Daily Dot)
Innovation at its best.
But that's the thing about innovation, when it's done right, it's amazing, but if it misses a beat, then it's a big, fat dud!
A Las Vegas blogger was eager to try out the pizza vending machine and so decided to spend her $10 (R184) for a slice.
She shared how she enjoyed his show and was a fan and had to try it out. But sadly things didn't go down so well. Her experience ended with her throwing the unfinished piece into the trash.
