There's no corner that you could turn to that would absolve you from hand sanitiser and hand wash...
Not after what our world has gone through with the pandemic.
But with that comes a certain sort of preference. Because having that fresh soft feeling on your hands is important (for most people anyway).
So when we saw this video from local TikTok comedy man, Sed Pillay, it really resonated with us as one of those things that only South Africans would get...
He videos his partner washing her hands at the sink. You would think she is washing her hands with soap, so nothing special about that.
But then you see her reach for the Sunlight dishwashing liquid instead of the hand soap.

But wait, what shocked us even more was one commenter who said:
Ms Lyn: "Sometimes I wash my hair with sunlight liquid. 😶"
And then it was confirmed, with most of the commentators saying they do the same in their own homes...
