By far the most inconvenient convenience store in the world!?
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Workers have to travel 120m up the side of a mountain everyday...
The main point of a convenience store is to be a place that provides convenience to people.
So it's safe to say that some of the main features of such a store would be location, serving items that are needed, and, of course, good service.
This convenience store located on the side of a mountain in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in Hunan province, China, has become known as the most inconvenient convenience store ever.
Why? Because it is located in the middle of the mountain, which means you can only access it on the climb up or down.
The store provides refreshments to climbers who need a quick break in the middle of their climb, as well as some light snacks and other refreshments.
Only one worker is stationed in the store at a time, and has to climb up 393 feet, which is around 120m, to get to work.
"The Shiniuzhai National Geological Park is a popular scenic tourist spot in the country, known for its steep cliffs, waterfalls, and climbing trails." (Business Insider)
The store is not pricey and the tourists are really grateful to have it, so some of the workers expressed how they feel their jobs are meaningful.

Each worker is required to stock up the store and serve the customers. The store needs to be stocked up at dawn to be ready for the climbers.
The only issue that the workers have is using the toilet, as you have to climb back down to use the toilet, which can become tiring. So many of them say that they reduce their water intake whilst at work.
