Bangkok restaurant's specialty soup that's been cooking for 48-years

We are all about trying new things, especially when it comes to food. Not that we consider ourselves foodies or anything, but good food is something to be appreciated.
And with traveling, that's part of the scope. When you love to travel, a key part of that means being open to trying out foods from all over the world.
But what if that is a soup that has been cooking for more than four decades?

Sounds weirder than it actually is, and if you're like us, you're probably wondering how that would even work...
A restaurant called Wattana Panich in Bangkok, Thailand is known for their specialty soup that has been cooking for 48 years.
If you are familiar with food shows, then you will know that there are many great foodies out there who thrive on finding the most weirdest and wackiest restaurants in the world, and we can firmly say that this is one of those restaurants.

"The idea came to the grandfather of the current owners. The former owner started cooking it in 1974. Every night since that day, the broth and meat are strained and refrigerated to continue cooking the next day. owners." (MSN)
The soup contains around twenty-five kilograms of beef, which continues cooking in a large pot. And it is served with classic noodles.
A bowl of this rich and flavourful soup costs €3, which is roughly around R54.
It has been reviewed by many foodies online and is said to be a must try if you're ever in Bangkok.
Sounds appealing, tasting the world's oldest soup, hmm...
