Is scattering a loved one's ashes considered littering?

This is a difficult one...

Now it takes a lot from a person to mourn the death of a loved one.

Life after death can be difficult under any circumstance, but what happens when you don't receive the support or understanding from people?

The great send off is painful, but it is also quite important in making sure that your loved one is given the peace they deserve.

The thing is that sometimes our traditions and rituals are limiting.

Limitations in light of the law, that is.

And as much as we can understand that the law is important in governing society, it is also quite exclusive.

It definitely was less understanding to this man during his period of mourning...

He was videoed telling his friends and family that he was fined for scattering his father's ashes at the beach.

The question that was posed in this video was, is it okay to laugh at something like this?

We think that in the bigger scheme of things, if you can find time to laugh even through death, it will help both those mourning to cope and those that have left us to rest peacefully.

What do you think?
