Air pollution is not something that just came into being. It has been a growing problem for many decades.
So, to see this kind of thinking in solving some part of the problem is really inspiring.
Of course, nothing beats growing real trees, but for now liquid trees are being used as a means to tackle dirty air.
As the narrator says in the above video, liquid trees aren't there to replace real trees.
They are there to help with reducing the amount of dirty air in any given city. One liquid tree does the work of two ten-year-old trees.
They are placed in urban areas as this is where air pollution occurs the most.
If we look at the situation in Thailand at the moment, the air quality has reached levels of danger that people have been urged to work from home and stay indoors.

By mixing organic matter with traditional cement, they are able to create moss cement. Moss cement helps remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
