WATCH: Fishing genius or hater of marine life?
This is part of life...
As much as we completely respect marine life, there is that fact that for many fishing is a livelihood.
One that puts food on the table, in one sense or the other.

This video that shows a fisherman using just fishing line out at the ocean shore, would be a prideful moment for most fishermen.
But what some find to be prideful, others find cruel.
It's a difficult position to be in, when you are on the precipice of having to find food versus saving marine life.
Please know that we are not choosing a side, just acknowledging that each person has their own right to practice what's good or bad for them.
Whatever someone is going through, we have to sometimes find a balance between what we believe and what others have to face each day.
That may be difficult, because sometimes even putting someone else's shoes on can be challenging, but having an open mind is what we would call being more humane.
