February is the month of love, but it’s about more than just wearing red and white or gifting balloons, plushies, and chocolates to your crush.

Planning some great arts and crafts activities is an excellent opportunity for the kids to learn and play in the spirit of love.

One mother shared some fun DIY activities using everyday items you likely already have at home.

1. Mystery message cards

You can create a secret message card using a white crayon, paper or cardboard, and water paint.

2. Handprint keepsakes

Keeping our kids' crafts is precious because it lets us revisit a moment stamped in time.

Using paint to make a handprint keepsake also makes a great gift idea.

3. Fizzy sensory play

This one is great for science lovers and non-science lovers alike, capturing their hearts and expanding their senses.

We also love how it helps them focus and keeps them busy in a non-screentime way.
