We recently took a deep dive into frogs and how they're considered a delicacy in Asia. Frogs became a popular meat substitute in the region due to their abundance and high protein content.

While the idea of eating frogs might seem unusual for people unfamiliar with the traditional dish, it's not much different from South Africans enjoying chicken feet or tripe

A Chinese mother shared the moment her baby tried the frog from her grandmother's bullfrog recipe, finding it both amusing and heartwarming.

In the video, we watch as the baby grabs the black bullfrog from her plate and puts it in her mouth. Admittedly, we were taken aback, as our instinct would have been to remove the frog from her hand.

However, for the baby, it seemed completely natural to eat the bullfrog. While we're unsure of the baby's age or whether this frog is safe for infants, it was certainly interesting to watch.

According to the translated post, the baby is eating bullfrog soup, which is made from thoroughly cooked bullfrogs with no added seasoning. While frogs are considered a nutritious food in many cultures, watching the baby eat it feels unnatural to us, making us want to take it away.

The video post explains that the baby wanted to eat the frog whole. The mother allowed this so she could capture this moment on video, but later removed the bones from the frog so the baby could eat it safely.
