In this week's podcast, Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp chats with medical doctor, Dr Leandri Hattingh, who has a special interest in mental health, and Charney Habelgaarn, physiotherapist and mom to a little girl with special needs.

Mental health is a misunderstood topic. At some times, it is not taken seriously, and at others, it is not even considered.

As a parent, would you know what to do if your child was experiencing difficulties with their mental health? Would you be able to recognise whether you are struggling with your own mental well-being?
Have you considered the effects of an environment which is not inclusive to those who are differently-abled?
To shed light on mental health and reduce the stigma attached to it, Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp has brought together two very special guests for our special broadcast.
Dr Leandri Hattingh is a medical doctor with an interest in the bigger picture of well-being. She is passionate about mental health and establishing a collaborative mental healthcare model in SA.
Charney Habelgaarn is a physiotherapist and mom whose daughter, in 2013, survived a near-drowning experience. Her experiences in the aftermath of this incident have equipped her to help us understand the importance of inclusivity.
