Black Friday woes as women realise the special wasn't really special

Ah, the disappointing, yet satisfying joys of catching someone in a lie...
It's safe to say that every year on Black Friday, we all set our sights on some thing or the other that we have been wanting for a long time.
The appeal of a sale really gets us excited and we think that has a lot to do with the fact that we are saving money. Essentially, the point being that we are getting something of value for a lesser price.
But it seems the 'deals' weren't as promising for these two ladies who revealed something quite intriguing on social media.
In one video, we noticed a South African woman share her disappointment when a price tag revealed a higher price than the hidden original price.
The woman peeled back the special price which was R279 to reveal the original price, which was R259.
The price tag was for an item from a popular shop in SA and according to the post, she tagged Middelburg as her location. What we're wondering is whether or not she took the item back...
We are not sure whether this was during a normal sale or not, as we cannot confirm that, but she used the hashtag #BlackFriday on her post.

Then the second video we noticed a woman from Los Angeles, USA share a video of a store that she visited during Black Friday.
Her discovery of the non-sales prices were shocking and the video received close to 40-million views.
In the video, we see her remove the sales price from the stand, only to see that the sales price is the same as the normal selling price.
