This is everything! The bonds we needed to get us through lockdown...
Going through lockdown brought its own unique challenges. But the one thing that many people resonated with was finding comfort with pets.
It seems whenever we are in need of some unconditional love and support, we can always turn to our pets.
In this case, it was a young student who had her right hand pet with her through her studies.
"The University of Texas at Austin had an honorary four-legged furry friend graduate alongside the recent spring 2022 graduating class: a one-and-a-half-year-old cat named Suki." (Instagram)
Francesca Bourdier, one of the graduates in the class of 2022, said that she spent most of her college experience at home.
Attending lectures over Zoom became the norm.
It is quite endearing that she found support from Suki the cat. So it only made sense that she made Suki an honorary graduate.
Their matching graduation gowns were not only cute but also opened up the conversation with Francesca's business, which caters for matching outfits between pet owners and their pets.
