"Children like me don't give up... and we gonna win the trophy"

We all could learn a thing or two from this young girl.
This weekend had a mix of emotions. A positive high after our boys won the Rugby World Cup and then a sad low when we heard about Matthew Perry's passing.
A young girl by the name of Imari Kenya, who we have featured online before, always manages to put things into perspective.
This time after her mother asked her if she still wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a chef, she left us ready to take on any challenge.
She is definitely way beyond her age when it comes to her wisdom.
Watch her speak with confidence and truth. Courtesy of TikTok.
@imari_kenya she is sure about this. I've gotta make sure it happens #SAMA28 #1thingabout2things #kullid🇿🇦 #imarikenya #imarikenyasmom #fridayqueen #mzansitiktok #mzansicomedy #mzansiforsho #southafrica #zinkarampamam #proudlysouthafrican ♬ original sound - Iman James

Her words surely inspired people who were all on the same page that she should be protected at all costs. Check out some of the comments.
