Couple share their best marriage advice after 30 years

"Instead of making assumptions, instead of running, ask questions."
Marriage is believed to be a bed of roses, but it's really quite the opposite.
Like anything in life, relationships take work and time. You have to nurture your relationship; healthy marriages are created and they don't just exist.
Think about it this way, what would you choose to do differently if you had one do-over?
Now, stop, before you say anything, life doesn't give you do-overs. You are the creator of your reality, if you want to give yourself another chance then do it, because far too often people give up before really trying.
A couple who have been married for 30 years share their most prized advice on social media.
This piece of advice is something they say helped them through some of the toughest times. The husband went on to say he feels they are more in love presently than they were when they got married.
It seems solid if you ask us...
