Customers queue up as cashier receives payment in coins

When it comes to that time of the month, sometimes you have to pull out the coins...
We've all been there. If you haven't, then you deserve a pat on the back.
Having to resort to digging into our piggy banks has become a norm for many people. We really do feel for those that have to resort to this.
But more than that, we need to adopt that sense of understanding to the real world when we come across people having to use their cents to pay for their groceries.
On the other hand, it could just be that these people receive money in cents and have no other choice but to pay with it?
A video that was shared on TikTok shows a person paying the cashier with heaps of 10c and 20c coins.
The queue is long at what looks like a Shoprite store (as per the cashier's top), but as this is legal tender, patience is key.

The TikToker that posted the video wrote the following in the copy: "Live better with Capitec".
And if you are a Capitec bank customer you will understand that they are referring to the savings method on the Capitec bank app called, Live Better.
At the very least the other customers were not impatient.
