We are a few days into December, but, hey, it's never too late to spread some love and joy during the festive season...
Technically, we are already late jumping onto the advent calendar for the official countdown to Christmas.
But that's okay because we propose a fun activity for the whole family. Advent calendars aren't just a fun idea for kids because of the candy/chocolate surprise; they are also a great way to get the family to practice gratitude and pay it forward this festive season.
An advent calendar is a decorative calendar that allows families to count down to Christmas in a fun and engaging way. There are chocolate store-bought ones and homemade ones that pack more than a treat.
An integral part of any parent's job is to teach their kids about gratitude and how to help the less fortunate. Sometimes, this doesn't have to be only helping the less fortunate but also spreading joy and light to anyone.
