Dad's priceless reaction to his baby puking on him
The best parenting moments may not start with laughter but when they can end in laughter, you know you have a winner.
For parents, dealing with vomit, spit or poo on them is just another day on the job – it's part of the parenting journey.
Sometimes, it's a harsh reminder that babies don't come with a manual, and how you respond makes all the difference. Even the most experienced parents can feel the pressure when faced with these less-than-ideal situations, but it’s in those moments that quick thinking and a bit of humour shine through.
Dads, in particular, are often celebrated for their creative, 'out-of-the-box' parenting techniques. This is why one father's reaction to being puked on by his baby turned an otherwise chaotic moment into something unexpectedly wholesome – and gave us all reason to smile.
In a video shared on social media, we see a father lying on the couch with his baby. He seems to be watching TV, stroking her back while she rests on his chest.
The scene starts picture-perfect, and then things get real when the baby suddenly lifts her head and pukes all over him. He yells out in shock, and his toddler comes into the room to find out what's happened.
Just as he starts laughing, the baby strikes again – this time with even more spit-up, leaving him covered in what looks like milk.
The moment serves as a gentle reminder to parents about the importance of burping their babies. Ensuring the baby digests their milk before lying down can save you from surprises like this one.
