Boundaries, this is what we should be teaching our children.

So often as parents, we feel the social pressure of conforming. Making sure our kids say hello, or give a kiss/hug when we ask them for one.
But we forget that by teaching them to conform to societies limiting ways of thinking, we are making them people pleasers.
Essentially we are grooming them to do things to please others and not themselves.

In this case, mom was not in the mood for a kiss, so she said no. But dad persisted, which made the baby girl uncomfortable.
We love that she was brave enough to express herself and share that what he was doing was making her uncomfortable.
This was a lovely example of how parents are teaching their kids about boundaries. And this family are really good at it.
