Updated | By The Workzone with Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
The WWF South Africa, in partnership with SANBI, is hosting an outdoor cinema screening for Earth Hour featuring 'Happy Feet'.

On March 22, 2025, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the world will unite for Earth Hour – a global movement led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Held annually, Earth Hour encourages individuals, communities, and businesses to dedicate an hour to making a positive impact on the planet.
According to Earth Hour, "Whether you’re into food, fitness, the arts, or the outdoors, anyone can give an hour to care for our planet. Last year, the world gave more than 1.4 million hours. This year, let us unite and go beyond to create the Biggest Hour For Earth!"
Join the outdoor movie screening at Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden in Johannesburg, where you can enjoy a magical evening under the stars.
Delicious food and drinks will be on sale, and you’re welcome to bring camping chairs or back supports. Beanbags will also be available for hire.
Gates open at 4 pm, with the movie starting at 7 pm. Tickets range from R50 to R100 and can be bought from Webtickets.co.za.
