New technology allows loved ones' memories to live on
Updated | By The Workzone with Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp
What a beautiful way to remember your loved ones...

Smartphones coupled with social media have allowed people to collect their memories of their lost loved ones and keep them alive through the means of technology.
We came across a sentimental piece of technology that allows people to stick a QR code onto their loved one's tombstones.
In a video shared to TikTok, we see a person scanning the QR code on a tombstone and what happens next is amazing.
The QR code transports the person scanning to the last memories of the person who passed.
We see an elderly couple playing at the beach and then walking together on a sidewalk.
The brand, Last Memory, allows people to capture their loved ones' favourite memories so that when they get visitors to the tombstone they can relive their favourite moments in honour of them.
