Knowing where to put what item inside your fridge could be the most fantastic money-saving hack ever.
We are in Januworry – the month that's far from a favourite for many, largely because it follows December, the year's busiest and most expensive month.
After the festive season, overspending in December often leaves people in a financial pinch. While setting budgets and being mindful of your spending is the way to go in 2025, here’s a surprising cost-saving tip: learning how to organise your fridge efficiently.
Lynsey Crombie, entrepreneur, author, TV presenter, and cleaning expert, is known for her nuggets of knowledge about all things cleaning. During an appearance on 'This Morning', she shared a clever fridge hack that might surprise you.
Most people don't give much thought to how they organise their fridge, but did you know that proper organisation could actually save you money?
According to the Queen of Clean, the fridge door is one of the warmest parts of the fridge – and where people most store their milk. However, this could lead to milk spoiling faster. To keep your milk fresh for longer (and avoid ruining your morning coffee), store it on the bottom shelf instead, where the fridge is coldest.
