Starting a new grade can be a challenging transition for many children, requiring resilience and support from both parents and teachers.
The changes can feel overwhelming, leaving kids feeling out of control and sometimes unable to perform at their best.
One Grade 1 boy was filmed by his family when he opened up about his struggles with schoolwork.
He explained how he was having trouble understanding his tests and felt stuck when his teacher asked why he couldn’t piece things together.
