Graduate gets on her knees to thank her mother
Updated | By The Workzone with Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp
It is indeed an inspiration to see how parents from all walks of life push to give their kids a better future.
Going through the motions of furthering your studies can put a strain on everyone in the family.
Most especially parents who struggle to give their kids the best chance at succeeding in life.
One very inspiring reminder of what parents do for their kids was presented via a video on TikTok recently.
The video shows a young woman walk up to her mother who had a stall in the market.
Once she gets to her mother, she kneels down and shows gratitude for her mother over her exciting news.
She has finally graduated after five years of studying. Her shirt says, 'Certified Graduate', and she carries around a marker for everyone to write their special message for her on her shirt.
Both of them are overcome with emotion over the good news and hug each other.
Eventually, the young woman turns to face her mother and throws money at her as a means of thanking her.

Her video resonated with many people, as it showed the hardship that many parents go through to give their kids a good education.
And it also reminds us to be grateful for what we have in life.
Because not everyone is given a fair chance in life, but those that shine the brightest are the ones that fight the hardest to make the most of what they have.
People praised her for kneeling down in front of her mother in gratitude, but she responded by saying that her mother deserved it all and more...
