Granddaughter complains about grandma's 'show chair' that no one can sit on
"You can't just have it as a show chair, somebody must sit on the chair!"
We can always rely on our kids to provide the most accurate impression of people.
And for the most part, it is quite entertaining.
For this little girl, it was about sharing what her grandmother says when she goes over for a visit.
She tells her mother that every time she goes to grandma's house, she isn't allowed to sit on a particular chair.
She calls the chair the 'show chair' and grandma says that no one can sit on this chair.
From the looks of it, we realise that this 'show chair' is actually a show piece and is quite old.
But it's the way this little girl shares the story that gets us.
She not only gives a great impression, but she also makes a valid point about the show chair.
What's the point of having a chair if you cannot sit in it?
