A great video showing us why kids should nap

When your brother recognises that you need a nap, you need a nap...
As children, we can hardly remember willingly wanting to take a nap when we had the opportunity.
But as adults, we can hardly wait to get the opportunity to nap, even if it is just for a few minutes.
A video that was shared on TikTok recently said it all when a toddler was seen crying (we assume out of irritability).
But from personal experience, we just know when our kids reach that stage of restlessness and act out.
In the video, the young boy is crying and his brother asks him if he had a nap yet.
To which the toddler responded, "No". The funniest part comes in when the brother tells him, "You need one".
The video was posted to the AFV TikTok page and was dedicated to everyone who didn't have a nap today.
A clear as day reason as to why napping is so important. It ultimately helps both our minds and bodies to rest and reboot.

According to the Sleep Foundation website, "A short daytime snooze may also boost workplace performance. A nap can improve cognitive functions such as memory, logical reasoning, and the ability to complete complex tasks. Some studies have found that physical performance can also improve after napping. Athletes may experience improved endurance, reaction times, and cognitive performance if they take a daytime nap."
Definitely something that we all should look into, regardless of our age.
