Becoming a parent is a massive milestone moment for many people. Whether they are doing it with a partner or alone, many people would love advice from a seasoned parent.
A mother who often posts ideas, hacks, and finds on social media shared a video that left many TikTokers grateful. In the video, she shared several hacks that might benefit a first-time parent.
From teaching your kids how to distinguish between your right and left foot to using a hairband on the doorhandle so that the kids don't get locked in, her tips are all practical and easy to use.

Over and above that, you might feel like a pro when practising these hacks in your home.
The first tip she shared showed her making a dot on a baby nappy with a green marker. This hack had many people needing clarification. According to the audience and the mother, the dot indicates to the parent whether the daycare, nanny or whoever helps look after their baby is changing the nappy. If the dot is still there when the parent checks the child, they know the nappy has not been changed.
Believe it or not, many caregivers either don't care or are too busy with other things to notice when a baby needs a nappy change. This could cause the baby discomfort and lead to skin conditions.
While some people found the hacks helpful, one said they didn't like the nappy marking trend. The person said: "I HATE this trend. If you truly feel like your baby isn’t being changed and have to use a Sharpie, find new care."
The poster replied: "Some moms don’t have the choice, and this may put them at ease."
