Now this is what we needed to hear without knowing we needed to hear it...
If you are an adult, you can totally admit that it takes time and dedication to commit to a routine.
Now throw in being a parent and you find yourself sometimes drowning in your days without a clear recollection as to the day's events.
Regardless, it is of utmost importance to take time to build a healthy relationship with yourself, your partner, and your kids.
And it's like they say, our children mirror our actions.
Ultimately, if you are in fact not making time for yourself and your health (both physical and mental) then what are you essentially teaching them?
This is why we thought we should share this amazing video by Jay Shetty. Now, if you don't know him, he was once a monk, and now is an author, motivational speaker, and a guru of wisdom when it comes to exploring insight into relationships.
He even uses his own marriage as a foundation to share knowledge about relationships.
He shares the ideal seven-day week and how you should be spending your time.
It doesn't sound conventional, but if there is one thing that we have learnt it's that sometimes it takes us walking out of the lines of convention to achieve true insight in life.
So if you are conventional in your thinking, perhaps watch the video and give it a chance before completely ruling it out...
