How much do you get done when shopping with the kids?

"Please buy cheese puffs..."
Shopping is said to be therapeutic. However, it doesn't quite turn out that way when the kids are with you.
Kids are programmed to say what they are feeling. So, when they want something, rest assured they will tell you.
We know this mom is not alone in her plight, which she shared online. In a video, a mother shared how a trip to Woolworths to get three things for dinner turned into a request line from her sons.
The mom of three boys, @madeaboymom shares how she went into Woolworths with her boys but it turned into a request line when all they did was ask for junk food.
Normal behaviour from kids, of course. But this is why when you are shopping with the kids you end up spending more than you budgeted.
Piece of advice: allocate for the requests and if you cannot, get someone to watch them when you go shopping.
It was the way the little one said, "Cheese Puffs" that completely made us cave.
