Parents, if you have a toddler, by now you will know that they can very easily turn the tables on you - using your own words and techniques to calm you down when they know they have done something you won't approve of.
One example we found showed us that, sometimes - actually, most times - our kids are listening to us, but they choose to evade the directive and pivot...
In a video shared by mom and chronic pain therapist Christie, we see dad discover his daughter after she has had free reign with her colour markers.
The young girl immediately breathes calm into the air with a monotone voice telling him to "Just calm your body".
What proceeds to happen leaves us shocked (but not really, these little humans can be quite advanced in all areas).
This is what happened after her dad made an empty threat to throw her markers out. Ha, we've all been there...
