Preparing food for your kids isn't always easy. They're notoriously known for being picky eaters, and while many parents eventually give in to the tantrums, it’s usually after trying every trick in the book.
Most parents will admit it’s a daily battle to get their kids to eat, especially when it comes to healthy meals.
If there’s one thing we’ve learnt about kids, it’s to expect the unexpected.
Just when you think you’ve cracked the code, they throw you a curveball, and you’re back to steering the unpredictable ship of parenting.
We recently came across a video of a toddler who didn’t just throw his mom a curveball, he left all of us confused.
Why? Because it’s not every day you hear a child asking for burnt food. Most people, when faced with a charred meal, either sneak it to the dog or quietly ditch it in the bin.
Kids? They'll tell you straight-up that it’s burnt and they’re not eating it – no sugar-coating.
But this little guy was the exception. He told his mom he liked the burnt bits on his chicken nuggets because they were crispier.
