It is refreshing to see a toddler's confidence. Far too often, we forget that part of ourselves as we grow, the confidence to say things exactly as they are and not worry about how others take them.
Far too many lose this trait as they grow. In some ways, it is part of growth; we become socialised into fitting into a neat little box and following the masses. But boy, oh boy, did this kid remind us how to harness our confidence in the cutest way.
A mother videos her toddler while he sits in his car seat, perusing through a picture book. She asks him about his crush at school, and he immediately shares how much he loves her.
Liam, the toddler, tells his mother how he wooed the little girl with one action that made her smile. When she asked him what he did, he raised his eyebrows up and down; we just saw Joey Tribbiani from 'Friends' giving his iconic look, saying: "How you doin?"
Liam did not know the little girl's name but thought she was pretty. This kid knows what he wants and is unafraid to say it out loud.
