Local make-up artist dishes on one of her worst on-set experiences
"I really wish that I wasn't so nervous that I could think properly."
We often hear about success stories in people's careers of how they have had to face a fair share of trials and tribulations before 'making it'.
But not often are we privy to the actual process showing how they got to where they are.
And this is why we really admire what professional make-up artist Camilla Mhlambi did with a video she made this past June.
Far too often, we succumb to our fears and lose confidence when we need it.
And this has proven to be our demise in the past.
Camilla shares in her very honest video that sometimes you have to just pluck up the courage to be confident in your abilities.
In the video, which she shared on TikTok, she speaks about how she does the make-up for the ladies on 'The Real Housewives of Pretoria'.

What we loved the most about her video is that we could see how difficult it was for her to be honest about her lack of confidence, but she pushed through.
And, ultimately, she shared a piece of wisdom with the world.
It taught us that being vulnerable is just as important as being confident. Each comes with its own set of positives and that's what we should focus on.
