Mom of four finds her lounge suite covered in hot sauce
This might be the worst part of parenting – apart from making decisions for another human, of course.
Having a messy home comes with raising a family, but sometimes the level of chaos makes you wonder what’s going through a child’s mind as they create it.
Any parent will tell you that discipline, patience, and teaching responsibility are essential for maintaining order, but there’s no perfect formula. Parenting isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey.
One mother of four is earning praise for her calm approach to parenting, especially after sharing her reaction to discovering her favourite hot sauce smeared all over the couch.

She filmed herself walking into the lounge, only to find a trail of hot sauce leading to the couch, which was also completely covered in the mess.
The guilty party? Her toddler son, who had little to say for himself.
As expected, people had opinions. Some were quick to blame "gentle parenting", but mom Kayla responded with grace, saying, "Or the product of being a single mom 🤷🏼♀️ but either way, I'm super blessed!"
She also revealed that the entire disaster unfolded in the short time it took her to use the bathroom.

Kayla also set the record straight with a detailed video response after receiving a wave of judgemental comments.
As it turns out, the dog may have played a role in the mess, and while she firmly believes in teaching consequences, she chooses not to share that aspect of her parenting online.
