How prepared are your kids if they are separated from you?
A mother has taken to TikTok to share how she was prepared as a child for an emergency situation.
Now that she has become a mother, she speaks about how her mother prepared her for emergency situations from the time she was a little girl.
In order to get the conversation rolling online, she has shared three tips she was taught.
She gives a disclaimer in the video saying that she is no expert, but merely wanted to start the conversation so that all parents prepare their kids for anything.
Now 'anything' sounds quite broad, so let's leave it as being prepared for being separated from their parents.
The first one she says her mom drilled into her as a kid is learning her parents' contact numbers.

She says that if your child ever gets separated from your while in public, then direct them to run to a mother with kids.
Admittedly, she says she believes only another mother will make sure that a missing child will be reunited with their parents.
And the third one is training your kid to shout out if they are ever abducted.
