Mother giraffe helps newborn take first steps
Updated | By The Workzone with Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp
A mother supporting her newborn is just the type of wholesomeness we need as we approach a month to celebrate mothers.

Watching a mother giraffe give birth is something that not everyone gets to witness.
Wildlife is something that isn't just scary, but it is also amazing. Sometimes in life, we are afraid of that which we are not familiar with.
And with access to social media, we are now able to see things that we wouldn't usually be able to see. One of the platforms that has allowed us to witness wildlife up-close-and-personal is Latest Sightings on YouTube.

It is so heartwarming to see the immediate response from a mother to uplift her child; pushing and supporting her young to walk.
Not only does this indicate a key difference between humans and animals, but it also connects us as a species that nurture our young.
