A must-try Spring activity with the kids

Being prepared with activities for the kids doesn't have to be time-consuming; it just takes some innovation and resilience.

We have moved into an age where many kids find playing indoors more attractive than playing outdoors. Getting kids outside and into nature has several benefits for their development. It's also been said that spending more time outdoors is the key to a happier life

The Miracle Recreation website described it efficiently: "First, having kids play outside helps them gain advanced motor skills. It also lowers body mass and leads to better general health, including improved muscle strength, a boosted immune system, and an improved mood.

"Next, outdoor play has numerous social benefits, including better peer-to-peer relationships, greater self-awareness, and an appreciation for the environment.

"Finally, outdoor play has multiple emotional and intellectual development benefits, such as using all the senses and additional brain development."

A mom shared an innovative, inexpensive, and easy-to-do activity with her kids. She took old Amazon boxes and cut them up into rectangular pieces, then she drew vases on them and poked holes into the cardboard with a pen.

She called these boards 'Park walk bouquets'.

Watch the video on how she made them below from Instagram. It looks like it turned out successfully, with the girls admiring their park walk bouquets.

Some people came to the comments, sharing their dislike for anyone plucking flowers. But others embraced the idea and said that it looked like fun. Either way, if you prefer not to pluck flowers, then you can pick up flowers or leaves that have already fallen on the ground.

  • "This is perfectly fine unless it’s an endangered plant species. Plants will bloom and rebloom year after year. No balance is being disrupted from taking a flower 🌺 love this idea."
  • "This is so sweet You are making those precious memories for those beautiful babies. Thanks for sharing. Just an inexpensive way to engage in many activities at once. Good job mom."
